Rebecca Hopper has lived in Pittsburg Ks since 2006 attending college at Pittsburg State University with a degree in commercial art. Since graduating she has worked at Millers Professional Imaging as part of the finish team and most recently as a part of the Quality Inspection team. She has participated in several Art Walks and events both in Pittsburg KS and her hometown Burden Ks. Pyrography artwork has consumed all her free time over the last five years, creating wood burned pieces adding paint and colored pencil for personal customers and events anywhere between Joplin Missouri and Oklahoma City Oklahoma. Living in Pittsburg has created a lot of opportunity to expand as an artist and with the addition of becoming a part of the Pittsburg ArtWalk committee she hopes to continue to grow as an artist in the community.
