The Pittsburg ArtWalk is an event that draws thousands to our beautiful downtown district, so naturally it is our responsibility to keep our artists and community members healthy at the forefront of our planning process.

The Pittsburg ArtWalk Association and its members have been monitoring information from the City of Pittsburg, Crawford County Health Department, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding the impact of COVID-19, the disease caused by coronavirus. 

During the first Pittsburg ArtWalk Committee meeting of the year, 

the Board of Directors have unanimously agreed to 

cancel the ArtWalk scheduled for April 23rd, 2021. 

We are discouraged to cancel yet another event, but we wish to be able to hold this event in a worry and COVID-free environment and to experience the ArtWalk as it was always intended to be. 

We urge each citizen to continue to take this situation seriously, while remaining calm and acting in a decent, respectful, and compassionate manner towards one another. 

Though, we have cancelled the live event, our passionate committee is currently discussing and planning several “safe” events for the very near future. 

Please stay tuned for more information. 

At this time, the event scheduled for September 4th is still a go.
