Volunteer duties include setting up tables and chairs before and after the event, placing signage, picking up trash, assisting artists, and helping with barricades. Volunteering at the ArtWalk is also a great opportunity for students needing community service hours. Volunteers will meet at 1:30 pm at Europe Park before the event and at 8:30 pm at the ArtWalk booth near the end of the event.

Join us for poetry and fiction readings at TJ Leland’s until 8pm, featuring local writers, including members of the PSU English Department. An Open Mic will be held from 8:00 pm to 8:45 pm for anyone who wants to share their work.

Kidz Zone is a space dedicated to young artists (ages 12 and under) where they can display or sell their artwork. An adult must accompany all children at all times. Sign up using the artist form on our website: pittsburgartscouncil.com/artwalk-applications.

Chalk the Walk is an interactive activity for everyone to express their creativity. We’ll provide the chalk, and you bring the ideas! Remember, this is a family-friendly event, so keep your drawings clean and positive. Not sure what to draw? Consider writing messages to brighten someone’s day.
